Emitech group has inaugurated within its subsidiary Environne’Tech based in Bourgoin-Jallieu its new “BJ zero” testing hall dedicated to low-carbon mobility.

BJ zero benefits from unique equipment to test electric batteries, as well as fuel cells (hydrogen). The laboratory, located in a new building, required a €3 million investment.

Automotive, aeronautics and maritime OEMs have their batteries tested here. We subject them to intense vibrations, temperature variations, rapid charging and discharging, etc. The goal is to evaluate their solidity and their durability for our customers” indicates Patrice Vericel, director of Environne’Tech.

With more than 30 years of existence, Environne’Tech today has a turnover of €8 million and 44 employees. The company, which is hiring test technicians and test engineers, also has a new objective: to build a new building within 18 to 24 months, which will be dedicated to the nuclear industry.
