Main activity

CEMA and SMC are two industrial companies of the GLX Mécanique group. They are specialized in precision mechanics and mechanized welding respectively. Founded in 1946, CEMA is one of the recognized companies in its field of activity, SMC has completed the services offered by GLX Mécanique since 2022 through external growth.
Customers who already trust CEMA and SMC come from the nuclear, aeronautical, defence and energy sectors.
Installed on a unique site in Montmerle sur Saône on the Industrial Zone of Les Rochons, CEMA and SMC offer their services of technical machined parts and mechanized works, from customer drawings, and for quantities of one piece up to batches of small and medium series.

The CEMA production staff operates CNC machines (max. diameter 550 mm) and machining centers milling 3 and 4 axes (1200 x 600 x 600), as well as traditional machines especially for the production of large parts (1200 mm in diameter and 2000 mm in length).

The commercial representation is provided by 3 sales people and 1 agent, who ensure the promotion and prescription of services of the 2 companies.
