Main activity

For more than 50 years, METRAVIB Engineering (ACOEM group) has been assisting its clients in the resolution of acoustics and vibration issues to improve the reliability of structures and related components and their regular follow-up (usage monitoring, durability).
Initially involved in the DGA development program for silent submarines until the beginning of the 80’s, METRAVIB rapidly became a privileged partner of the industry, bringing its expertise in the fields of defense, aerospace, automotive and railway.
The company has contributed to the improvement of acoustic comfort inside vehicles and aircraft, to the development of vibration reduction solutions, to proposing lighter structures compatible with NVH constraints, as well as to the creation of tools to control the reliability of industrial structures or production lines, and to monitor usage (HUMS).
Since its creation, METRAVIB has also worked closely with leaders in the polymer and rubber industry to develop instruments and material testing methods that meet the needs of R&D engineers.
This has led the company to provide innovative Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) instruments covering wide ranges of frequency, force, stress and temperature.
