Recruitment in aeronautics and space in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes,
a still positive dynamic
The aeronautics and space industry in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes remains a driving sector for employment. According to the survey conducted among companies in the sector, 92% of them recruited in 2024, representing a total of 2,600 hires. For 2025, around 2,000 recruitments are to be filled, maintaining a sustained hiring dynamic after strong growth since 2022. In total, over the period 2022-2025, the sector will have generated nearly 10,000 hires in the regional territory, demonstrating its resilience and its increased attractiveness after the Covid crisis.

A key issue: the attractiveness of training courses
While the regional aeronautics and space sector maintains a high level of hiring, companies stress the need to continue efforts around the attractiveness of technical professions and associated training. The need for qualified labor remains a strategic priority to guarantee the competitiveness and industrial sovereignty of the sector, in a context of strong international competition.
In conjunction with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Aeronautics and Space Academy and in conjunction with Gifas at the national level, the association is continuing its commitment by supporting companies in their recruitment and by collaborating with training stakeholders to meet these challenges.
